Perfect fit for size L, soft and pleasant skin

I've wanted this jacket for so long, but was afraid I'd have to send it back because it's too oversized (xs). I was pleasantly surprised that although it is oversized, it has an excellent fit. You can wear a t-shirt underneath or a thick jumper, it always looks good. In fact, the jacket is super cool and can easily be dressed up or dressed down. Works with both jeans and a fancy skirt or dress. Needless to say I won‘t send it back.

One of the things I've been consistently disappointed about with women's leather jackets is that they tend to feature either thin or lower quality (or both!) leather. As someone who rides a motorcycle not only do I want something thick and protective (excluding almost all "fashion" jackets) but something that looks good off the bike and will age well and look better and better as time goes on (excluding most motorcycle jackets). After doing a lot of research and trying on a few different jackets from other brands I decided to take a chance on this because it seemed to be a good balance for me between price point and quality of construction and materials and it featured the style and measurements I wanted. While I can't attest to how well this jacket ages yet -- I'm really hoping the dye gradually wears away, as opposed to the finish simply peeling or flaking off -- I can say I was surprised at the quality. This jacket is of comparable thickness and weight to my leather chaps (which are designed to protect me from the road), with a leather that's actually pretty supple and comfortable to wear right off the bat. The hardware is nice and sturdy-feeling too. The artificial aging at the edges is a neat touch, but personally I would've preferred to age the jacket myself. I marked it as running big in size because at 5'2" (1.57m) and 140lb (63.5kg) with an athletic build, S typically fits me best in length, waist, and bust across various brands (shoulders and arms are another matter, I actually typically wear men's XS-S for exactly this reason), but after checking the measurements I opted for XS. It accommodated my broad shoulders and bigger arms well without making me swim in the chest and waist. The hem hits at about belt-height while wearing a pair of mid-high rise jeans, which is perfect length for while I'm seated on the bike. It's almost too restrictive with a thick hoodie on, but knowing I erred on the smaller side when making my decision I'm quite satisfied. This jacket is for sure one of the better ones at this price point and I'm looking forward to turning it into a vintage piece.

This jacket is everything I’d been looking for. I’ve tried similar styles from other brands however none of them has the quality I was looking for. I will undoubtably have this piece in my wardrobe forever. I did size up as I wanted it to be slightly oversized and it ended up fitting exactly how I wanted it too (For reference I am a size AU8 and I brought an AU10). The only concern with this jacket is the buttons used to fasten the removable collar to the inside of the jacket. They stuck directly into my collarbones, however because I don’t plan on using the detachable collar I was able to remove these without damaging the leather (If you don’t know how to sew I would suggest taking this to a professional to have them removed).
