Excellent quality. Choosing the right size is always a challenge at Nudies, but until now I consistently need 27/32 for Gritty Jackson. Which is kind of weird, given that I have three still perfectly fitting Grim Tims sized 30/32, 29/32 and 28/32 (old to new). My first Gritty Jackson sized 28/32 ended up in a charity shop, hopefully making someone else happy. So the sizing might not be perfectly consistent, its evolution is. I suppose Nudie Jeans is preparing for entering the American market.

The jeans are great, easily wearable out the box and shipped fast!

I love that I can get high quality jeans in my size and length. The fabric is beautiful and it fades wonderfully, changing from a dark indigo to a brighter blue. The subtle contrast from the warm tones of the raw denim to the cool tones of the faded areas gives depth to the color. I do wish that this was more of a straight leg (as described), rather than slightly tapered as it turns out. I also wish that the sizing was consistent between styles (read sizing descriptions carefully before purchasing, a mistake I made, so now I have an extra pair that is oversized). Despite these faults, I bought a second Gritty Jackson, because I like the raw denim color and appearance as much as the faded. It does take a while for the fading to begin. I wore mine just about every day for about nine months before the fade lines became apparent, and then it seemed to fade rather quickly. Also, a suggestion is that since the jeans come with a fold line, it’s a good idea to iron it out before wearing so that the fold line doesn’t fade first and prominently.

Beautiful selvedge denim, sturdy yet supple with handmade look and feel. Cant wait to fade these over time!

Love these jeans. Buy them snug around the waist and longer than you think. I’m usually 32 leg and bought 34 leg. Right decision, it gets shorter with wear even before you wash them. Beautiful jeans, great quality. Looking forward to seeing how they age.

I’ve been wearing Lean Deans for a while, but I wanted a looser fit around my legs. The fit guide was very helpful - this is basically a Lean Dean with straight legs. Great dry denim, but I slight twist in the right leg, hence four stars out of five.

I thought the fit was perfect for me (6 ft, 160 lbs) with it being not too skinny and not too baggy. Solid construction and feel

It is simply an excellent piece of clothing and also the fact that you have the confidence to offer free lifetime repairs goes to show that you truly believe in the quality of your garments which in this day and age is unheard of.
